Rave Run: Waukesha

Hey everyone! Unlike last summer when I ran all over the country, I've more or less stayed in the 'Sha this summer, with just a brief trek to gorgeous Conesus, New York in mid July.

One of my favorite places to do hill workouts is Madison Street, which leads to the hospital. It's a great place to run because it's very shady, and the neighbors are super friendly; they cheer me on as I go! I love heading there for hills because it eaves options open. It's fairly steep, then levels off, and then goes up more, so I can do so many short, and so many long. Then, partway through, there's another short, steep hill if you turn onto the next street. It's a fun, challenging workout that's different every time.

Much love, Kate

Well, better late than never...

Women's distance took a hit for this track season. Mad props to Geneva, Camilla, and Kathleen for carrying us through. We're all looking forward to the return of our captain Lauren Hall for the fall cross country season, and hoping for some promising newcomers to refresh all of our spirits. But until then, happy summer running everyone!
